Individuals applying from within Canada who have been sponsored:
- The sponsor must submit the sponsorship application to the Canada Immigration Case Processing Centre in Vegreville, Alberta, in order to be considered for sponsorship.

- Citizenship and Immigration Canada will submit the Sponsored Persons' application for Permanent Residence to the relevant Canadian Immigration Visa Office situated outside of Canada. This is after the Family Class Sponsorship application has been granted.
If you're applying to Quebec as a sponsored person, here's what you'll need to know:
